Bay Area Credit Unions

Tampa Bay Area Credit Unions, or BACU, is a coalition of fifteen local credit unions in the Tampa Bay Area.

These not-for-profit institutions unite through BACU to educate the community about the benefits of joining a credit union over a bank.

Process

The Challenge

BACU came to our team needing an explainer video that would live on the home page of their website. This video would help the viewer understand why BACU exists, and explain how a credit union is a great option for anyone.

The Approach

BACU already had a refreshing brand style in place when this project kicked off, so while we were given creative freedom, it was easy to play off of the existing content and create something that was fun and comprehensive. We went for something design heavy that was supported by secondary animations and fluid transitions.

The Outcome

This animation turned out to be clean and fun with its colorful design and utilization of cameras to drive the motion. It currently resides on BACU’s homepage and has been pushed on a few ad campaigns.
